These Terms govern your use of the Inclusive app ("Inclusive", "we", "us"). By installing or using Inclusive, you agree to them.
What Inclusive does
Inclusive scans your Shopify storefront for accessibility issues measured against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, helps you remediate them in your theme and product data, monitors your store over time, and produces documentation of that work.
No guarantee of compliance — please read
Inclusive does not guarantee, certify, or warrant that your store is "compliant" with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), WCAG, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), or any other law or standard. Accessibility conformance depends on factors beyond automated testing, including manual testing with assistive technology, content authored after a scan, and third-party apps and embeds. Automated testing detects many but not all issues.
Inclusive is a tool to help you find, fix, and document accessibility issues and to demonstrate a good-faith, ongoing remediation effort. Inclusive does not provide legal advice. For advice about your legal obligations, consult a qualified attorney.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for reviewing every change before and after it is applied to your store.
- You authorize Inclusive to read and, when you approve a fix, modify your theme files and product alt text. Inclusive keeps a backup of modified theme files so changes can be reverted, but you are responsible for verifying your storefront after applying changes.
- You must have the right to authorize these changes to the store.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access other merchants' data, or use it to scan stores you do not own or operate.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. Paid plans include a free trial; you are not charged until the trial ends. You can change or cancel your plan at any time. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Availability
We work to keep Inclusive available and accurate but provide it "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Termination
You may uninstall Inclusive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
